KMD – an experienced web site operator

KMD established its first external web site in 1996 and operates a large number of externally directed web sites today. The largest one is KMD’s digital interface to its about 150,000 individual system users www.kundenet.kmd.dk, which contains about 20.000 web pages. In addition, www.kmd.dk, www.eboks.dk, www.civitas.dk deserve mention. For internal use within the company, KMD has an intranet comprising several hundred thousand web pages.

With its about 3000 staff members and a turnover of well over DKK 3 bn, KMD is the largest Danish-owned IT company with the mission to create IT services improving the efficiency of public authorities, the business sectors and the citizens.

KMD has a strategic cooperation agreement with SAP and markets SAP-based solutions within finance, HR and the SAP Netweaver Portal. KMD runs the largest SAP multi-client payroll solution in the world with 1 million public employees registered.
